Our Story
We’re Hannah and Bibek, partners in life and now in business.
Halon Bloom started in our first rented flat in London. Like most renters, we wanted our space to feel like home without spending a fortune or filling it with pieces that would feel dated in a year. What made the biggest difference for us was lighting.
A lamp could change the mood of a room and can make a plain corner feel designed with intention. Lighting transformed our flat from “just rented” to “ours.”
But when we looked for the kind of lighting we wanted (modern, Japandi inspired, renter friendly) the choice wasn’t great. It was either pay designer prices or settle for something basic and forgettable.
So we built the store we couldn’t find.
Why We Exist
We created Halon Bloom because we care deeply about our space and we know we’re not alone.
Our lights are designed for renters, first-home dwellers and anyone looking to upgrade their space without breaking the bank. They’re practical and products we’d happily spend our own money on (and do).
We believe in simple designs that last - pieces that work in any room and grow with you as your space changes. We spend a lot of time looking for the right balance of quality, design and price and if it doesn’t work in our own home, it doesn’t make the cut.
Rooted in Japandi and Nordic design, our lighting is clean, minimal and versatile, without the stress or the price tag.
Our Promise To Customers
Halon Bloom was born from a simple idea: good design should be accessible.
We’ve lived in rented flats and spaces that never quite felt finished, and we built this brand with that in mind. These are our promises to you:
Good design that feels accessible. You don’t need a huge budget to make your home feel calm and stylish.
Lighting that works in your life. Whether you rent, share or own, our pieces are easy to live with and easy to style.
Timeless, not throwaway. Inspired by Japandi and Nordic design principles, our collection is designed to outlast passing trends.
